As Deputy Director, Finance (Payables), one of the key duties of Odunlade Olabisi is ensuring that budgets conform to procedures, policies and organizational objectives. Apart from reviewing budgets for efficiency and effectiveness, she makes sure that invoices are validated for timely processing.
She played a major role in the implementation of ACCPAC, an accounting software, by mentoring and training staff on its use. Her supervisory duties extend to staff responsible for payroll, petty imprests and various grants. She also certifies that proper accounting and coding of charges is done for expenditure as well as ledger balances.
Mrs. Odunlade’s experience in planning, budgeting, forecasting, account payables and receivables and cost control has been gained for more than 20 years. She is an alumnus of the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi where she earned an MBA in 2001. She did her undergraduate studies in business administration at University of Maiduguri, Nigeria. Her hobbies are reading and walking. She is married with children.
