Research Staff Train on COVID-19 Clinical Trial

Ahead of a clinical trial titled, Therapeutics for In-Patients with COVID-19 (TICO) study, researchers at the Institute of Human Virology Nigeria (IHVN) have participated in a virtual training on the implementation of the study by the project’s International Coordinating Center in Sydney, Austrialia.

TICO study is a follow-up study to the just concluded In-Patient Treatment with Anti-Corona Virus Immunoglobulin (ITAC) research conducted by the Institute. It is to evaluate the efficacy of multiple drugs aimed at modifying the human response to SARS-COV-2 infection and is funded by the US National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID).
