As Director Strategic Information, Fati Murtala-Ibrahim provides technical guidance in the collection, analysis and reportage of program data. She oversees the development of the strategic information plans and ensures that targets are distributed appropriately. Routine data quality assessments are also carried out with her support and she oversees the forecasting and management of data collection tools. Mrs. Fati-Murtala Ibrahim gives technical guidance on the implementation of the SI workplan. She also participates in the development of M&E tools, guidelines, standards, and manuals for data management processes.
Her experience in public health and community pharmacy spans a period of 15 years. She has held several positions within the Institute such as Senior Program Officer, Indicator Reporting, and Head of Monitoring Unit.
Fati Murtala-Ibrahim trained as a Pharmacist in Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and has obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from the same institution. She also earned a Postgraduate certificate in Public Health from the University of Manchester and is currently studying for a Masters in Public Health at Walden University, USA. She has attended trainings in management, data analysis and monitoring and evaluation. Her professional affiliations are with the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria. She is married with three children and loves reading, watching football and lawn tennis.
